TOAD: Young Virgins Call For Mutiny (Deluxe Expanded Double Disc Edition)

Back in 1994, some of the Frankies really enjoyed this collection of the sounds of what we ended up agreeing we'd call, erm, dreampop and beyond. So, since I have had a little time on my hands recently, here's a new rip. One substitution and a new cover, but otherwise just how you oldarses remember it... or just how you young shavers will come to remember it. See Frank's #104 for more mithering about each track.

1. Butterfly Child - A Breath of Fresh Air
2. Moonshake - Two Trains
3. Seefeel - Industrious
4. Insides - Darling Effect
5. Flying Saucer Attack - Wish
6. Medicine - Aruca
7. Medicine - Something Goes Wrong
8. KK Null/James Plotkin - Sawtooth Swirl
9. Cul de Sac - Death Kit Train
10. Bark Psychosis - Manman/Blood Rush
11. Main - Rail
12. Papa Sprain - U Swell
13. The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa - Surfing on Steam
14. Thieves - Unworthy
15. Bark Psychosis - A Street Scene

At the time, there were several bands I either forgot about (hello, A R Kane - doh!) or ran out of space to include (come on down, Labradford). After the time, there were further bands I came across and realised they should have been rounded too. So now, just like some tawdry major label reissue, chock full of useless live tracks and latterday b-sides, I collected a second set for you. Again, see the APA for more.

1. A R Kane - Lollita
2. My Bloody Valentine - Instrumental II
3. Disco Inferno - In Sharky Water
4. No-Man - Sweetheart Raw
5. Earwig - Every Day Shines
6. Experimental Audio Research - DMT Symphony (Overture to an Inhabited Zone)
7. Laika - Sugar Daddy
8. Slowdive/Brian Eno - Sing
9. Pieter Nooten/Michael Brook - Searching
10. Lull - Time
11. His Name Is Alive - Lemon Ocean
12. Labradford - Experience the Gated Oscillator
13. Orang - Orang
14. Circle - Meronia
15. A R Kane - Baby Milk Snatcher
