weareie
And while I'm giving props to other blogs, the best-named blog out there, weareie, has just posted another fine mix of vintage jungle - Hyper-On E, Rufige Kru, Photek, DJ Crystl - forty minutes of pure sweetness.
Agreed - of all the vinyl I'm coughing up, it's the stuff from that era of jungle I'm most worried about never hearing again. You can't even get the few albums that were released any more - Black Secret Technology (A Guy Called Gerald), Suspected (Foul Play), Omni Trio Vol. 1 are all deleted. How long do I have to wait before Soul Jazz starts reissuing these?

Ah, DJ Crystl. Pure gold. Notch up his collected twelves as another one for the "if we had a record label..." list.
